Autism Speaks announces more than $4.5 million in newly funded basic and clinical grants

The newly funded projects take novel approaches toward understanding autism, including studies of interactions between genes and the environment, studies of prenatal brain development, and developing techniques to better measure language comprehension in nonverbal individuals with autism.
